Perfect Is Boring: Why I am Still Drawn to Handmade

There is something interesting happening in the creative world right now.

At the very moment technology can make almost anything look flawless, we seem to be craving things that aren't.

The slightly crooked line. The visible brushstroke. The old frame with a little patina. The drawing that makes you smile because it captures a personality rather than reproducing a photograph.

In other words, the evidence that a human being was here.

And I love that.

Maybe because that's always been at the heart of A Original Designs.
